The lysosomes digest used , dead, or damaged molecules and recycles them. Its also the protector of the cell, when bad things come in it defeats it. Its like a garbage disposal but for the cell. They also contain things called enzymes, their like acid. If the lysosomes dont release enzymes we would have webbed feet and hands. Huh?
